It is important that clients know at the outset exactly what the service is that we offer, and our fees.  Our service is unique, complete, and bespoke. Advice/Information on every area of France is available, specialising in Brittany, Normandy, Gascony/Aquitaine.

Initial consultation is at your convenience to understand your requirements, your strategies and your parameters – for example, whether you wish to make a permanent move, use the property for investment, or as a holiday home a few weeks a year.

The process is:

• We research the area in person
• We draw up a short-list of properties
• We show you them, and talk to the Notaire and the Agent
• We arrange for surveyor, architect, builder etc as necessary
• We help you decide on an appropriate offer, and help you take it from there!

Unlike many similar organisations in the UK, we use local French services, but, if you prefer, we also have a team of financial advisors in the UK who are very familiar with administering mortgages for properties abroad. We assist you with a French bank account, essential for your new life in France.

We translate the relevant documents, including contracts and deeds, and give you a full report on all searches, investigations and surveys you might require.

Our checklist gives you an idea of the depth and thoroughness of the enquiries we undertake.
At completion, we accompany you once more to the Notaire, and help you with final formalities.  At this point we try to arrange a meeting with the Maire of the Commune, because there can be no better ally in a French rural/semi-rural community than good relations with the Maire and the council!
